That is really something for all wine fans and the lovers of panoramic views. At the Marezige village in the hinterland of Koper, there stands the first wine fountain in this part of Europe. It is only 20–25 minutes’ drive from the cruise terminal in Koper.
The fountain lies on a high plateau with a wonderful view of the Adriatic Sea and Alpine peaks, making your visit even more memorable. You will receive a special wine glass and three chips which will allow you to taste local wines directly from the fountain’s tap. You can keep a glass as a souvenir of your journey. In a special indoor tasting room, you will have the opportunity to taste other regional wines and learn more about the production and wineries. During free time you will also have a chance to do a short walk through the vineyards.
The tour is ideal for those who want to experience something unique and enjoy the panoramic views of the Slovenian countryside.
